Bhovali 4 september, tarun mohan (chief correspondent / chief editor) A Valediction Ceremony was held at the Uttarakhand Judicial and Legal Academy, Bhowali, Today, on September 3, 2025 for the Trainee Judicial Officers of Civil Judge (Junior Division) Batch-2022. It is noteworthy that after the successful completion of their one-year foundational training at the Academy, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court, Hon’ble Justice Shri G. Narender, Patron in chief of UJALA, administered an oath to the trainees. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Chief Justice congratulated the newly appointed Judicial Officers for successfully completing their training, and extended his best wishes for their bright future, and expressed hope that the trainees would make a valuable contribution to the State’s Judicial System.
The Director of Uttarakhand Judicial and Legal Academy, Shri Pradeep Pant, welcomed all the dignitaries present at the Valediction ceremony and, during his address, he informed that the training for these trainees began on August 1, 2024, and during the past one year, 15 trainees were provided with intensive training on various subjects. To familiarize them with the geographical, spiritual, and cultural aspects of the State, a “Uttarakhand Darshan” program was conducted, during which they visited various districts of the State, a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Governor, and also visited important institutions/centers. He also informed that the inauguration and commencement of the e-office at the Academy were also inaugurated the hands of the Hon’ble Chief Justice.
The Trainees also presented a Cultural Program at the Ceremony, which was highly appreciated by the audience, and the event concluded with the National Anthem.
On this occasion in addition to the Hon’ble Chief Justice, other dignitaries the Hon’ble Senior Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court, Hon’ble Justice Shri Manoj Kumar Tiwari: Judge-in-Charge of the UJALA, Hon’ble Justice Shri Ravindra Maithani: Hon’ble Justice Shri Pankaj Purohit; Hon’ble Justice Shri Ashish Naithani; Hon’ble Justice Shri Alok Mehra: and Hon’ble Justice Shri Subhash Upadhyay were present. The Registrar General of the Hon’ble High Court of Uttarakhand. Shri Yogesh Kumar Gupta; Additional Director, of the Academy Smt. Shadab Bano: Joint Director, Shri Mohd. Yusuf; and Assistant Director, Shri Kartikeya Joshi were also present.
